NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Michele Lundgren has been married to world famous rock and roll poster artist Carl Lundgren for nearly fifty-five years! That alone should be a testimony to her ability to get along and get things done! Born in Detroit in 1950, this enterprising woman grew up in the small community of Dearborn Heights but has since lived all over the country assimilating many skills. Living in downtown Detroit for over 20 years, Michele attended Wayne County Community College District and graduated Summa Cum Laude at age 64 with an Associate Degree.​

From the Baby Boomers to the Hippies through the Vietnam War, and now as we are experiencing an era of much upheaval, Michele wants to work with EVERYONE to create a prosperous and unified 9th District. All generations deserve to live their best life.

Wayne County 9th District needs a new Michigan State Representative, not the same played out Democrat. First, I am not a career politician. I started my political journey several years ago. I ran for the office of Delegate for my District 146 in the Cass Corridor and I won. A small office but I took my responsibilities very seriously. If elected to State House, I am not beholden to anyone other than my constituents. The 9th District is a diverse group of people, with many nationalities and religious beliefs co-living in a densely populated area. We all want safer neighborhoods, clean streets, and an economical growing city. We want safe play areas for our children and our pets! I have worked tirelessly to keep MY neighborhood livable, and I will do the same for you!
